To My CFCC Family,
As developments continue to unfold, and we receive additional updates from local and federal government agencies, we want to be mindful of one another's health and safety.
You are important to me, and as the shepherd of this flock, it is my responsibility to look out for you. After much thought and prayer, I have made the difficult decision to allow the church to go dark effective March 16, 2020. Unless otherwise notified by local or federal government agencies to maintain this status, we will return to fellowship when local or federal government agencies have lifted the orders.
This decision should not lead you to question my faith, yours, or God's ability to
protect us during what we may feel are unprecedented times. COVID-19 may be novel to us, but all are known to our sovereign God. Nothing catches Him by surprise!
I understand you may sometimes be concerned with the uncertainties each day may bring, but we will hold fast to the Word of God, Proverbs 3:5-6:" Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."
Your CFCC leadership team is working to establish telecommunications and various methods to remain connected, although we are not together.
This is the first of many communications to come. You will soon see my face; lookout for it.
Because I care. Matthew 6:25-27
